There is a UK government based website, The Northern Ireland Executive, managed by the Office of the First Minister, Deputy First Minister, two junior Ministers and 11 departmental ministers.

To exercise the executive authority on behalf of the Northern Ireland Assembly government designed this executive committee to take important decisions on all the major issues and matters. This committee also agrees upon the proposals that are put forward by the Ministers for forming new legislation in the form of “Executive Bills”. Even, this committee also draws program for government and an agreed budget for approval by the Assembly.   

The ministers for this executive committee is voted by the political parties of Northern Ireland Assembly, determined by the share of seats in the Assembly. Largest and second largest parties nominate the First Minister and Deputy First Minister respectively which work as the chairman of the Executive. The responsibilities regarding a specific Northern Ireland government department are equally distributed to each executive minister. The rules and procedures for exercising the duties and responsibilities of Ministers and junior ministers are set out in Ministerial Code. The Northern Ireland Assembly has specified these ministerial code in the Belfast Agreement, the St Andrews Agreement, the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and the Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) Act 2006.

On their website you will find the case history of people who are facing problem in legal matters. One of the legal case of a Trevor McClintock director is also displayed on their website, which was bounced by media persons. He was disqualified for four years from the post of Director of DTM Management Limited by High Court of Belfast on 21 December, 2007.

Trevor McClintock carried the business of the DTM Management Limited, produces periodicals, newspapers and magazines from Regus House, Belfast. In June 2002, this company went into liquidation with assets of £6,493; liabilities of £436,095 and a deficiency as regards creditors of £429,602. After considering the losses incurred by the shareholders as well as directors of the company the total deficiency was £429,605. The matters of  unfit conduct in respect of  Director Disqualified Trevor McClintock were suspected by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment including the court.

There are certain clauses seen by these government departments before Trevor McClintock disqualified was his post, which are:

1.      Causing and permitting a materially inaccurate Statement of Affairs to be submitted on behalf of the DTM Management Limited, in that asset was materially overstated and liabilities understated.

2.      Causing and permitting breaches of a factoring agreement between his Company and the Bank of Ireland to the benefit of other companies of which he is a director.

3.      Failing to explain the purchase by the Company of the assets of Franklin Creative Limited.

4.      Failing to maintain or preserve the financial records of the Company and many more.
